About Dr. Archi

Dr. Archana “Archi” Chandrashekar is a board-certified general surgeon and fellowship-trained breast surgical oncologist. Her goal is to provide compassionate and collaborative breast cancer care to the community. She takes pride in the relationships she cultivates with her patients and is passionate about education and outreach.

Dr. Archi was raised in Palmdale, California and completed her medical school training in Glendale, Arizona, where she pursued leadership and service opportunities. She completed her general surgery residency at Henry Ford Macomb Hospital in Clinton Township, Michigan and her fellowship in Breast Surgical Oncology at Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, Illinois. During her training, Dr. Archi presented at several national and regional conferences including the American College of Osteopathic Surgeons, the American Society of Breast Surgeons, the American Society of Colorectal Surgeons, and the Southeastern Surgical Congress.

Outside of work, she enjoys hiking with her dog and partner, Bodrie, trying new restaurants, frequenting local markets, and finding local seasonal experiences. Ultimately, Dr. Archi values spending time with her family and friends.

"Any diagnosis can make the future feel uncertain, and no two patients experience that the same way. My goal is to help patients understand their diagnosis and their choices, so they can move through treatment with confidence. I believe the best medicine is a partnership, so I support each patient from the first visit through recovery and beyond."
