About Dr. Duchini

Dr. Duchini is a board-certified, fellowship-trained breast surgical oncologist and oncoplastic reconstructive surgeon with over 13 years of experience. She was born and raised in Erie, Pennsylvania and completed her medical training at the Lake Erie School of Osteopathic Medicine.

She completed her surgical training at the University of Pittsburgh Horizon and spent time at the Cleveland Clinic specifically learning breast surgery. She then went on to complete a prestigious fellowship at the Washington Cancer Institute in Washington D.C. which is part of the National Institutes of Health and the National Cancer Institute.

“As breast surgeons, we need to recognize the special concerns of our patients.   We have a responsibility to be available and approachable, and to provide information regarding community resources and support.  I treat every one of my patients as if they were my mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, and daughter.  I put myself in their shoes and treat them like I would want to be treated. I also understand that the waiting is the hardest part, so I always want to get my patients in as soon as possible.”
--Dr. Duchini
Dr. Duchini is not only a wonderful surgeon, but a wonderful person as well. She truly means what her profile says--from the first moment I met her, I knew I was in the right place. She is comforting and kind, she explained everything in great detail, my surgery was literally pain free. I am so glad I met this wonderful lady/talented surgeon. I not only consider her my surgeon but a dear friend as well. Thank you again, dear lady.
